Beth helps existentially anchored, deeply self-aware souls stop questioning their belonging and embrace what makes them wildly unique.
Beth Walters has always been drawn to people, connection, and the parts of life that don’t fit neatly into words. At one point, that curiosity led her to the Ringling Brothers Circus, where she performed as a clown, learning early on how powerful it is to bring joy into another human's experience. Her first experience in the mental health field was working as a Certified Recovery Peer Specialist in a suicide prevention program, sitting with people in some of their most difficult moments. She has spoken on a TEDx stage; written and published a book on self-reflection; and stepped into leadership as Director of Training at NAMI.
On the surface, these roles might look unrelated. But for Beth, they’ve always celebrated the purpose of human connection, especially when life feels complex, overwhelming, or hard to put into language. Her work is shaped by her own lived experience with mental health, not as something separate from what she does, but as something that deepened her capacity to sit with others in honesty and complexity. Over time, she’s come to believe that when people feel truly seen; without needing to simplify or explain themselves into something smaller, their true selves begin to blossom.
Beth doesn’t ask clients to go anywhere she hasn’t been willing to go herself. She shows up honestly, shares her own lived experience, and leads in a way that makes it easier for clients to tell the truth about their own. Her perspective tends to land as both grounding and refreshing. She’s also clear in what she stands for, and works from an inclusive, systems-aware lens.
If you want to work with Beth, don't badmouth cats. She has two and they are her children. She's a proud Taco Bell fan, and has a deep appreciation for travel, unique experiences, and connecting with other deep-thinking people who care about making a positive impact.
