Coaching is practical, non-clinical support focused on growth, goal-setting, and taking action to improve your life. It’s future-focused and flexible, ideal if you have a stable foundation and want guidance, accountability, or tools to reach specific goals.
Therapy is clinical support from a licensed professional for mental health challenges like depression, trauma, or significant relationship concerns. Therapy involves assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based interventions to help you process emotions, stabilize, and heal.
Still unclear about which is best for you? Read here: Coaching vs. Therapy: Which is Right for You?

We do not accept insurance or provide superbills for reimbursement as we are a fully private-pay practice.
By remaining private pay, we’re able to provide completely private, flexible, personalized care that insurance-based models simply don’t allow. This approach lets us focus on what matters most: you, your goals, and your growth. For many clients, that level of autonomy, privacy, and personalized care is worth the investment.
We accept HSA/FSA cards for all therapy services, and for ADHD-related coaching with our Neuroaffirming Coach, Erika.
In addition, we also offer limited reduced-rate sessions in an effort to remain as accessible as possible to anyone seeking services. If you’d like to learn more or inquire about reduced-rates & availability, feel free to text us at 941-216-5576.
Complete confidentiality and privacy
When you use insurance, your personal health information, diagnosis, and treatment details become part of an insurance record. Private-pay services remain between you and your provider only.
Control over your treatment
Insurance companies often determine how often you can be seen, how long you can stay in care, and what approaches are considered “medically necessary.” Paying out-of-pocket allows you and your provider to decide on the best course of support (number of sessions, frequency of meetings, session length, etc.)
Freedom from diagnosis
Insurance requires a mental health diagnosis to authorize and continue treatment. In private-pay care, you are not required to be labeled or pathologized in order to receive support. This allows space for growth, exploration, and support without a clinical label driving the process.
Choice of provider
When using insurance, your options are limited to in-network providers. Private pay gives you the freedom to choose a provider who truly aligns with your values, goals, and personality, because feeling safe and understood matters.
Private-pay care prioritizes you as a whole person, not a billing code. For many clients, that level of autonomy, privacy, and personalized care is worth the investment.

What is a Good Faith Estimate (GFE)?
Under the No Surprises Act, a Good Faith Estimate is a document that outlines the expected cost of services for clients who are paying privately (not using insurance). It includes the expected cost of services based on the information available at the time, such as session fees, frequency, and duration of care. It is an estimate, meaning actual costs may change depending on your needs or the length of services. You may request a Good Faith Estimate before beginning services.
Does a Good Faith Estimate guarantee the total cost of services?
No. A Good Faith Estimate is not a contract or a guarantee. It is an estimate intended to provide transparency. Your total cost may change if you schedule additional sessions, change the frequency of sessions, or adjust the type of services you receive.
What if my actual charges are much higher than my estimate?
If you receive a bill that is $400 or more above your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charges.
Can I ask questions about my Good Faith Estimate?
Absolutely. We encourage you to ask questions at any time. Our goal is to ensure you feel informed, comfortable, and clear about the cost of services before moving forward.
There really is no "typical" timeline. Everyone arrives with their own unique set of challenges and goals. For some with short-term goals, it may take just a few sessions. For others with longer-term or more deeply-embedded challenges, it may take a year or two. Others still, may choose to use services as part of their maintenance in self-care, scheduling sessions here and there as life unfolds.
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy for both therapy and coaching sessions. If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice, or do not show up for your session you will be responsible for the full session fee. Sessions canceled with 24 hours’ notice will not be charged. We understand that true emergencies can happen. Any exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
