Whether one or both of you have ADHD or AuDHD, you’re trying to mesh two different ways of operating. Small miscommunications can quickly turn into bigger arguments, especially when one of you is seeking connection while the other is overwhelmed or shutting down. Conversations about chores, plans, or responsibilities often loop into the same frustrations. You both care deeply, but still end up feeling misunderstood.
You’ll learn to understand each other’s nervous systems so reactions make sense instead of feeling personal. We’ll build communication that fits how your brains process information, emotion, and overwhelm. You’ll also create simple, practical systems for daily life (like tasks, plans, and transitions) that reduce friction instead of adding to it. Over time, you’ll repair disconnection faster and find your way back to each other more easily when things go sideways.
