If you are concerned about the cost of services, you may ask your provider for a good faith estimate. A good faith estimate outlines the expected costs for services, which helps you understand the financial aspects upfront. You may also see below for the insurances we accept; or ask your provider if you may qualify for sliding scale pricing.
For Therapy services, we currently accept:
- Aetna
- United Healthcare (Optum)
- Oscar (Optum)
- Oxford (Optum)
- Cigna
- Carelon Behavioral Health
If you have a different insurance provider, your therapist can provide you with a superbill to request reimbursement directly from your insurance provider. Sometimes insurance providers will provide reimbursement for services obtained through out-of-network providers. This is not guaranteed, and is completely your choice and responsibility to check this out if you wish to do so!
Life Coaching is self-pay only. It is not billable through insurance as it is not a clinical service.
Therapy is typically centered on helping you heal from emotional or psychological challenges. Therapists are licensed professionals who work with people to address mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and past experiences that may be affecting their current well-being. Therapy often delves into understanding the root causes of your feelings, thoughts, and behaviors, and it can be a more long-term process aimed at healing and managing mental health.
Life coaching, on the other hand, is more future-focused and action-oriented. Life coaches aren’t licensed to diagnose or treat mental health conditions, but they help people set and achieve personal or professional goals. They help you clarify your goals, develop strategies to overcome obstacles, and hold you accountable as you move forward. Life coaching tends to be more about motivation, personal growth, and achieving a specific outcome, like career advancement, finding balance, or improving relationships.
In short, therapy is about healing and understanding the past and present, while life coaching is about creating a path forward and achieving personal goals. Both can be incredibly helpful, but the approach and the goals differ.
We understand that life can be unpredictable, and cancellations may be necessary. However, in order to respect our therapists' time and availability, we require at least 24 hours' notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will result in the client being responsible for the full cost of the session.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
